Relief Teaching Themes: The Coast is the first book in a series of three, designed to help relief teachers capture their students' interest with lessons that are fun and innovative. The lessons cover five learning areas: English, Mathematics, The Humanities, Science and Visual Arts.
The lessons are presented in task card format and are addressed to the student. All of the cards are easy to follow, visually appealing and can be completed on a number of levels. Lessons which require students to access materials other than a pen/pencil and paper are clearly marked with appropriate icons. Answers and suggested responses are provided at the back of the book.
